Born in Seattle and raised in East Oakland, CA. What pleases me is spending time with my children and grandchildren. I like family gatherings, and I enjoy cooking and meeting people. I have always been in human services. My first job was working for Harborview Medical Center as a patient transporter. Later I returned to the hospital setting, working for Harborview and the University of Washington. My gift inspired me to become a mental health therapist. I would meet people, and they would share their feelings and thoughts. I found unconditional positive regard in my heart before the term was introduced to me, accepting people for who they are.
